If you continue to use OS X Lion (10.) at the moment, your operating system may be out of date. Upgrading your home does not require you to be afraid of it. If you’re running an earlier version of macOS, first upgrade to macOS Sierra, then follow the instructions above to upgrade to macOS High Sierra. If you’re running OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), first upgrade to macOS Sierra, then follow the instructions above to upgrade to macOS High Sierra.
You can also upgrade from macOS Sierra to macOS High Sierra by downloading the macOS High Sierra installer from the App Store. Just open the App Store and click the Updates tab. If you’re running macOS Sierra (10.12.6 or later), you can upgrade directly from macOS Mavericks to macOS High Sierra.
